NZ High Commission host Tongan Women in Sport.

The New Zealand High Commission Tonga opened its doors and hearts, hosting a beautiful networking reception for our Tongan Women in Sport Leaders. It wasn’t just an event, it was the first step in building a dedicated network of Tongan women in sport. A space where leadership is nurtured, cultural strength is honoured, and women are backed to rise, together.

A powerful evening where connection, collaboration, and celebration took centre stage following the Pacific Women’s Sports Leadership Programme 2025, in Tonga.

Under the warm Pacific sky, women who are leading change through sport came together not just to share space, but to uplift, inspire, and back each other. These are the women turning the tides, smashing barriers, and proving that leadership looks like us.

Big shoutout to Leitu Sa, Acting High Commissioner, and her incredible team for the manaakitanga (hospitality) and unwavering support. Malo 'aupito for creating a space where our voices could be heard, and our journeys celebrated.
